PETER:
This
restaurant is...how shall I put this...a very big disappointment. The "chips"
in chips and salsa were clearly from the bottom of a bag they'd bought on
sale from Safeway, and the beef enchilado was sort of like a two day beef
curry in a tortilla. With the planes, traffic and Dave Matthews Band covers,
it's almost too noisy to talk. Did I mention that the service was dodgy?
BRIDGET:
One comment:
gag barf.
CHRISTIAN:
I'm not
sure which I like less: listening to the Dave Matthews band play their "songs"
or listening to the guy that this place has playing on the outdoor patio on
Thursday nights try to do them. Given a choice, the droning and persisent
noise of the airplanes flying overhead is probably the best option.
Definately not a place to spend a relaxing Thursday evening. The service
was better this time than it was the last time we went (kudos to the waitress
for the good humored way in which she responded to Peter's concerns about
the bowl of crumbs posing as tortilla chips that was brought to our table
("I know this may sound like a strange request, but do you have any bigger
chips?")). The food was okay, but I REALLY don't like having to sit
there looking at my plate for 15 minutes after I'm done eating, especially
if the place isn't that busy. The only reason I'd go back is for the
$7.44 per person "open bar" party that the menu promises can be arranged for
groups of any size (does that include a group of one?)
Also in attendance were Steve and Randy.
